We just got back from spending the last few days with family in Toledo. I had a bunch of things to do today (like cleaning the house and doing laundry), plus it was hot out and the park that I had originally planned on didn't sound all that thrilling. Plus, I needed to go shopping to get the girls a girly wallet. You see, when we were in Toledo, Kaylee asked for a dollar before we went to the Mud Hens game. I gave her one and she wanted to hold it the whole time. By the end of the night, she had $4. I got her to put it into a plastic bag. Lindsey then wanted one too. It seemed like a wallet would be a better option.
So, we headed out to Crocker Park, with 3 goals in mind: buy wallets, play in the water, and get cheesecake at The Cheesecake Factory. All three goals were accomplished. We first went to H & M and got 2 Hello Kitty wallets for $5 each. Then, we headed to the fountains to play. The water is on from 1-4. It stays on for 15 minutes and then goes off for 10 minutes. Make sure if you go, you bring towels and a change of clothes. Most kids do wear bathing suits, but the first time the girls played in here, I was with friends and playing in there was unexpected. The end result was 3 moms running through all the kids stores in Crocker Park with wet kids, looking to buy outfits to change them into.
Following the fountains, I got my cheesecake! The girls ate the whipped cream from the cheesecake and split some french fries. Crocker Park is located at 25 Main St. in Weslake, Ohio. The website is www.crockerpark.com.
Kaylee and Lindsey Rating: 4/5....the girls had fun in the water, but it turned off a lot and they seemed to enjoy it more when they were little.
